Jim is a pillar in the business and civic community and one of the nicest guys you will ever meet! Some call him "Mr. Fix It", because time after time we have called on Jim to serve the county, as a volunteer, to help solve problems and improve our quality of life.
Most recently, as President of Denton County Emergency Services District #1, Jim led the effort to save lives by shortening response times of 911 calls for medical emergencies.
Jim's selfless nature and "can do" spirit is a breath of fresh air in today's messy world of politics. He'll make us proud and serve with honor.
Jim has the experience, vision and conservative values needed to keep Denton County moving in the right direction. Denton County is facing unprecedented growth and we need someone with Jim’s business and civic acumen to keep taxes low, ushering in new jobs and protect our quality of life.
With sky rocketing property tax, driven by increases in appraisals, now more than ever our local governments must look for ways to provide property tax relief. As a keen businessman, Jim understands the burden high taxes and regulations place on small businesses and their impact on creating jobs. With a proven record of cutting taxes in his previous elected positions, we can trust Jim to be a taxpayer champion.
Denton County is projected to be one of the fastest growing counties in the nation over the next few years. Jim wants families to spend less time in traffic and more time together at home. That's why he's worked to secure millions of dollars to improve our roads, reduce traffic congestion and increase safety.
Jim currently serves as president of Denton County Emergency Services District #1. Not only did he sponsor the formation of this District as a Commissioner, he has continued to work to improve emergency fire and medical services to the district, which not only saves lives but also saves homeowners up to $1,000 per year in insurance premiums. Jim vows to maintain the County's high level of user-friendly services to the District and all of Precinct 4.
Denton County is one of the fastest growing counties in the nation, and a significant amount of its future growth will be in Precinct 4. We need experienced leadership and sound financial business management.
Twenty years ago Precinct 4 was represented by an inactive and ineffective Democrat Commissioner on the Court. Together Commissioner Andy Eads and I have worked hard to bring sound conservative Republican principles to Precinct 4, and it would be a travesty to leave our precinct’s promising future to a well meaning candidate who lacks the required business and management experience.
Let's keep Precinct 4 RED. I'm looking forward to continuing to serve our county!
